Thanks for the quick reply. NVflash is a no go because it's 32bit only/DOS (I'm on Win7 x64). I have tried two different versions of VoodooPS2 so far and nothing works. I'm still really new to OS X86 so I'm going to keep trying different methods. Next I am going to try installing it in /Extra/Extensions and see if that makes any difference. Right now I am waiting for my install to restore from VMware because Multibeast bricked my last install. For some reason no matter what I do using Multibeast (last time I only installed one kext!) it bricks my install. So no more Multibeast, I'll just install the kexts manually and use kextcache..
